Programs

Application Process
 
It is critical to get the right people for the right programs.
It is better to have a small team of volunteers who have a common goal and clear understanding of the project objectives
rather than a larger team of people looking for an adventure!

   1) Do you have a desire to teach and work with children, teachers or business and government leaders?
   2) Can you adapt and change to uncertain conditions?
   3) Do you have 20 days in mid-July? (plus travel and recovery time)?
   4) Are you in good health and able to walk long distances and stairs?
   5) Can you work in high heat and humidity environment?
   6) Will you refrain from smoking and alcohol?
   7) Will you adhere to the “Dress Code” and professional standards?
   8) Can you submit and follow instructions from the Team Leader?
   9) Do you have a minimum of $2,400 (estimated) for the trip?
 10) Request Application Form – PART 1 – Basic Interests.
11) Return form to be included in official email notifications.
12) Participate in an informal interview process.
13) If accepted, complete and return: Application Form PART 2.
14) Include $150 Application Fee for Trip Medical Insurance.
15) Are your immunizations current?
16) Gather teaching supplies / photos / crafts supplies, etc.
17) Attend orientation and training sessions.
18) Network with other participants and the Team Leader.
19) Establish a communication chain/ladder.
          Email and phone contact may be limited or restricted!
20) Prepare for your life to be changed.
